Answered Prayer for You~2 Peter 2:10~

Brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure:
for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall.”

What a glorious and humbling promise, my Father.
For if I can be diligent, I have your word that I will never fall.

Never fall.Oh Lord, how much I desire to never fall

Never again to fall into doubt, fear or failure.

Never again to wrestle with the snares that so easily entangle.

Never again to walk out of your perfected plan for me.

Lord, I ask for your strength to be diligent.
I so desire to be attentive and persistent, Lord, by your Holy Spirit fan the flame into a roaring fire.

Lord by faith, your word tells me that I already have all that I need for life and godliness.
Lord, thank you for allowing me to be continually transformed into the image of Christ.
Full of purpose, full of passion for your kingdom.

Lord, may my bloggy brethren also continue to be diligent to be sure in their calling.

May they be solid in their walk; unwavered in their faith.

Lord may the desire to seek you, overtake and consume them today.

May they forget the things that is past, and today, this very moment,
with all that is in their hands, press forth into you.

Surround them with your presence and may they experience You to the fullness in ways they never knew before this day.

Father, with you and in you we do not fall.

What a wonderful God you are. How we love to love you.

In Jesus Name
Amen~ So Be It

If Fear is a Lie, What is the Truth?

Jo’s fear stomping this week.

Those creepy little thoughts and voices have no place in our heads and in our hearts, and we do not need to listen.

Time to walk in the confidence that God is the God who means what He says and does what He means.

How do you face your fears?
Head on or tail between your legs?

Do they sneak up in the middle of the night when you can’t sleep?
Immobilize you in  your hectic moments?
Ambush you when you are trying to savor a taste of joy?

Or are they just there  quiet but constant; a dismal hum in the background?

Are the fear of  paying the bills?
Keeping your job?
The kids? Your marriage?
Your health?

How bad does it need to get to get your step out of synch from God and your ear out of tune to His voice?

Fear and Faith are Reciprocals~

“inversely related or proportional; opposite”

North and South are reciprocals.
Life and Death are reciprocals.

In fractions, 3/4 and 4/3 are reciprocals.

The same thing but reversed.

Do you remember back in the day, when we had film in our cameras?
Do you remember how the black and white images on the negatives were inverted?

God, the Creator, gave us FAITH.
Satan, the Destroyer, perverted FAITH and introduced FEAR.

One or the other.  We can’t occupy both at the same time.

Two other reciprocals.
Two little words that will direct your destiny.

God is Truth. His word is Truth.

NO Gray Zone with this one.
This must be settled in our hearts.

Satan’s biggest attack is against the Truth of God.
And His biggest Lie is the Lie that God WILL NOT or CAN NOT do what He said.

We need to choose.  Every day, every moment.

When fear comes careening in like a tidal wave.
Be solid in your foundation.
Know what you know and hang on to the ABSOLUTE SECURITY that God WILL DO.

Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. [Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled.]
John 14:27

Father, in the name of Jesus, I pray for everyone whose eyes you have led here.
Father, today we choose to not allow our hearts to be troubled.
We speak to our hearts as Jesus spoke to the storm and we tell it to BE STILL.
Father, now at this moment, we will not allow ourselves to be agitated and disturbed.
We do not permit it!
Father, we receive your strengthening and we will not be intimidated, cowardly or unsettled.
Jesus has left us HIS PEACE and we choose to live every moment in it.
Father, you are faithful to your word. Your promises are yes and amen.
Father, I pray that for what ever situation my darling readers find themselves in, you would give them a promise. Father, lead them to a jewel in your word that they know is right from your heart.
I declare that their hearts are good soil for your word and it will bring an awesome harvest in their lives.
We thank you for all you are doing and all you are going to do.

In Jesus name.
Amen, so be it.

Feel free to comment and share the promises and verses God gives you so we can all be encouraged!

The Fearless Word

We really have no concept of how closely our Daddy God has us.

Absolutely nothing is going to pry us from His fingers.

I sometimes think if our spiritual eyes were opened we would see that we are not only in His hand, but messed and intertwined INTO His hand.

There is not separating us from Him.

He is in us.
We are in Christ.

Fighting fear?
Soak in His promises to you.

“In you, O LORD, I have taken refuge; let me never be put to shame;
deliver me in your righteousness. Turn your ear to me, come quickly to my rescue; be my rock of refuge,  a strong fortress to save me.”
Psalm 31:1-2 (NIV)

“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.” Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence. He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler”
Psalm 91:1-4 (NKJV)

“A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand;
But it shall not come near you. Only with your eyes shall you look,
And see the reward of the wicked”
Psalm 91:7-8 (NKJV)

“God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear, Even though the earth be removed,
And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea.”
Psalm 46:1-2 (NKJV)

“Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble;
thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance.”
Psalm 32:7 (KJV)

“Let all who run to you for protection always sing joyful songs.
Provide shelter for those who truly love you and let them rejoice.”
Psalm 5:11 (CEV)

“Discover for yourself that the LORD is kind.
Come to him for protection, and you will be glad.”
Psalm 34:8 (CEV)

“Let me live with you forever and find protection under your wings, my God.”
Psalm 61:4 (CEV)

“It is better to trust the LORD for protection than to trust anyone else,”
Psalm 118:8 (CEV)

“My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all;
and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.”
John 10:29 (KJV)

BLESSed to be a Blessing

What fun! What fun!!

Today was random, sporadic  sowing day.

Lunch on Jo! All around!

Love it, love it.

I don’t think the every day ride gets any funner  than this!

I initially set out to buy the tea of the two dear ladies sitting across from
me it my favorite litte get away spot,  Neepawa’s home-grown, organic and nummy claim to fame; the  “Prairie Seasons Bakery”.   bakery pic

However, as I get up to the counter, i find out, ummm  nah, opps,  not just tea… they had lunch.

So what do you think is  the first thing that grips me?
You bet,  fear.

After all, it is FEAR BASHING WEEK!!

The brakes squeal inside me!
CHA-CHING…. I can hear it now…

I see the DOLLAR SIGNS!! $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Phone Bill’s due, Jo!!

Hydro Bill’s due, Jo!!

Gloria the Wonder Jeep needs to go back to the  Car Doctor, Jo!

But no, I choose.
I’m pressing in and I’m laying hold.
I’m resisting the fear!

Because I know that sweet voice, and that persistent nudging that pokes my
spirit constantly..

I certainly couldn’t back out with logic.
“Ummm, sorry God, I just thought they were having tea…”
God would never buy that excuse.

Nope, blessed to be a blessing…
Thats me.

Thats how God sees it!

And, I am believing God.

BLESS Key One... set in motion.

I start to let the joy rise up in me when I just imagine them, coming up to the
counter, and Grant’s  big ole smiley face on the other side of the till
say….” its all taken care of, ladies”

The joy is bubbling me up now.
Yup, Lord.
Lets do er!!

$26.00 two lunches, my tea, and my son’s fresh made garlic bread to go.
Not so bad. The sting isn’t hurting a bit.

HA!! Take that FEAR~~

I love being a sower.
I love to give.
I love being a blessing.

I deeply believe it is what God placed in all of us, when we became that new creation.

Key 5~ its God’s M.O.
Its how He operates and its how He intends for us to operate.

Nothing can stop the blessings, once one starts to pour out into other
peoples lives.

But this is the COOLEST PART EVA!!!!!

Not even 15 minutes after, leaving the restaurant, I was given 30 cans of soup.
Mushroom, Tomato, and Chicken Noodle….

SOUP!?!  You say, with a snicker…

OK, not my favorite either.

But definitely the kid’s when they are home alone after school,
waiting on working mama,  supper, and that looooong 2 hours in between.

That’s just my God.  Always looking out for what concerns me.  My kiddos!

Its 2 pm, my day is half over, and nothing all week has filled me with such
excitement and expectation.

What’s next in this crazy every day faith walk??

Dunno, but as soon as I do,  you will too!!

Dancing OFF the Fear

Blogging the fear battle this week.

What do you do with your fears?
Do they sit and grow?
Do they consume you?

I don’t doubt for a minute that they are real, or that their hold isn’t strong.

Fears come upon us.
So what do we do with them?

I am finding that the more I get rooted in God’s love for me, and let it become perfected, the more fear is uprooted.

It has nothing to grab hold of because I am becoming full of the Word of God.

When fear comes in like a flood I spend my time on my BLESS You keys, which ingrain the love of God into me,  but I don’t stop there.

I press in more,  dig into the scriptures more,  and I listen for  His voice more.

This week, I have tried to tune my ear to hear Him sing over me.

The LORD your God in your midst,
The Mighty One, will save;
He will rejoice over you with gladness,
He will quiet you with His love,
He will rejoice over you with singing.

Zepheniah 3:17  NKJ

Close your eyes, open your hearts and LISTEN!
The Maker of Heaven and Earth is so in love WITH YOU that He bursts out in song!

This scripture has been such a strength this week when I turn around and find myself standing face to face with fear.

I listen to His song and now,  the most magical thing has happened.

I have begun to dance.

Yes,  Dance…..

His song, and my feet.  What a  pair!

God Sings,  Jo Dances, Demons Flee….

It has become the most powerful arsenel in my belt as of late.

And yes, I can feel Him quieting me with His love.

So tell me, darling bloggie friends.

What are you doing with your fear?

Rooting Out the Fear

Love made perfect casts out all fear. 1 John 4:18

I have fears.

Do you have fears?

Do they creep in when you’re not looking.

Do they whisper in your ear in the dark.

do they bind your hands and  feet and seize you heart?

Love has not been perfected in me.

I know it, but still I wrestle.  Daily at times.

But no more, together we are walking out of fear.

One foot in front of each other, you and  I together.

We were not meant for this and our Daddy God did not intend this for us.

It is His love that is casting out the fear.
It is His love in us that is being made perfect.

Take courage, lets read how much the God of the universe loves you.
Let these words sink deeply into your spirit, and grow.

Lets become so established in how safe we are in our Father’s arms, that fear becomes a fading shadow..

Who shall ever separate us from Christ’s love? Shall suffering and affliction and tribulation? Or calamity and distress? Or persecution or hunger or destitution or peril or sword?
Romans 8: 35

For I am persuaded beyond doubt (am sure) that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor things impending and threatening nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 8: 38-39

But God–so rich is He in His mercy! Because of and in order to satisfy the great and wonderful and intense love with which He loved us.
Ephesians 2: 4

No one has greater love [no one has shown stronger affection] than to lay down (give up) his own life for his friends.
John 15: 13

The LORD appeared to us in the past, saying: “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving-kindness”
Jeremiah 31:3

And walk in love, [esteeming and delighting in one another] as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us, a slain offering and sacrifice to God [for you, so that it became] a sweet fragrance. Ephesians 5: 2

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him! For if, when we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!
Romans 5;8-11

Getting Rid of Fear

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear:
because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love

1 John 4:18

What does love made perfect look like?
Would I even know it if i saw it?

I think more than not, I see the evidence of the absence of perfect love in areas of my life

Areas where fear still creak in.

“Oh, Jo, a little bit of fear is a good thing.” you say, ”
Its natural. You can’t help it. We are always going to feel fear”

Thats exactly right.  It is natural.
But we were called to be supernatural people in a natural world.

If we have fear, we know exactly where we are!  We are in the natural and not walking in the spirtit.
And Praise God, we now know what to do about it.

We must get back to love.
But not just any love.
Perfected love!

Yes, the Father’s perfect love.

I want you to spend the time this week, and ask God to search your hearts and revel your fears.

Spend as much time as you need, ask Him, and believe that He will show you.
Begin to write them down,

Now after you write them down, look at them.
I want you to look at them one last time, because after that, you are going to repent, and watch your wonderful Father dissolve them all.

I want you all to do this this week.
I’ll be doing it to.
I’ll be keeping it up on the blog, and I want you to come and share your experiences.

BUt we’re not done yet.

After we get a good look at what these fears really are, we are going to spend the rest of the week absolutely basking in that perfect love.
We are going to let that perfect love, flood us from head to toe.
We are going to let it fill us and cast out ALL FEAR!
Every last sliver of it.

I’m doing this too, remember. My life has been shadowed with fear as of late, and I want it GONE!!
Who’s all with me?!?

There will be no more fear here.

Just imagine!!! Fearless LIFE!!
It can be ours, sweet ones!!
It will be ours!

Only love that is perfect, making me perfect.

You are in my prayers,

I love you
