Rooting Out the Fear

Love made perfect casts out all fear. 1 John 4:18

I have fears.

Do you have fears?

Do they creep in when you’re not looking.

Do they whisper in your ear in the dark.

do they bind your hands and  feet and seize you heart?

Love has not been perfected in me.

I know it, but still I wrestle.  Daily at times.

But no more, together we are walking out of fear.

One foot in front of each other, you and  I together.

We were not meant for this and our Daddy God did not intend this for us.

It is His love that is casting out the fear.
It is His love in us that is being made perfect.

Take courage, lets read how much the God of the universe loves you.
Let these words sink deeply into your spirit, and grow.

Lets become so established in how safe we are in our Father’s arms, that fear becomes a fading shadow..

Who shall ever separate us from Christ’s love? Shall suffering and affliction and tribulation? Or calamity and distress? Or persecution or hunger or destitution or peril or sword?
Romans 8: 35

For I am persuaded beyond doubt (am sure) that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor things impending and threatening nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 8: 38-39

But God–so rich is He in His mercy! Because of and in order to satisfy the great and wonderful and intense love with which He loved us.
Ephesians 2: 4

No one has greater love [no one has shown stronger affection] than to lay down (give up) his own life for his friends.
John 15: 13

The LORD appeared to us in the past, saying: “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving-kindness”
Jeremiah 31:3

And walk in love, [esteeming and delighting in one another] as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us, a slain offering and sacrifice to God [for you, so that it became] a sweet fragrance. Ephesians 5: 2

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him! For if, when we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!
Romans 5;8-11
